TheDallas Cowboys' offense has undergone a mini-makeover this offseason. Dallas tradedfor wide receiverGeorge Pickens, shoring up the room alongside All-ProCeeDee Lamb. They hope the revamped unit will return quarterbackDak Prescottto his 2023 output, where he finished runner-up in MVP voting. NFL SCHEDULE RELEASE:49ers, Patriots among teams with easiest slates in 2025 The talented duo of Lamb and Pickens has some wondering how the chemistry will unfold on the field, especially with the unpredictable behavior Pickens displayed throughout his first three years in Pittsburgh. Some of those concerns could subside after both participated inKyler Murray's charity softball game over the weekend, where Lamb discussed their collaboration in an interview withDLLS Sports. "We both ones (No. 1 receivers)," Lamb said with Pickens standing nearby. "It ain't no A, B, none of that. It's one. You look over there, you see one. You look over here, you see another one. So do what you gotta do with that." Pickens, Pittsburgh's second-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, ledSteelersreceivers in receptions (59) and yards (900) in 2024. Lamb has been the unquestioned top receiver for "America's Team," leading Dallas with over 100 receptions and 1,100 yards in three consecutive seasons. You have to go back to Lamb's second NFL season (2021) for the last time he split targets with another receiver,AmariCooper. Since then, no other Cowboys receiver aside from Lamb has surpassed 660 receiving yards or 54 receptions. SUPER BOWL ODDS:Who is the favorite to win Super Bowl 60 after 2025 NFL schedule release? Dallas ranked first or second in points per game for four consecutive seasons before 2024. They ranked 18th with Prescott healthy under center in eight games. Prescott posted a career-worst passer rating (86) and QBR (45.6) in those eight games. Grant Berger/NBAE via Getty; Kenny Giarla/NBAE via Getty After a huge 2024 season, the star power in the WNBA is only growing. Because of superstars likeCaitlin ClarkandAngel Reese, the WNBA pulled in a record number of viewers and attendance at games. But that was just the beginning new — the 2025-26 season kicked off on May 16 with lots of new talent. From UConn to USC to France, these players are the ones to watch. Read about the six freshly drafted women who are sure to take the league by a storm. Brian Murphy/Icon Sportswire/Getty The Paige Bueckers hype is real, and as the No. 1 draft pick and a national title under her belt, all eyes are on her debut for the Dallas Wings. Bueckers entered the NCAA at the same time as fellow superstarsCaitlin Clarkand Angel Reese, but her eligibility was extended after an injury that cut her sophomore season short. The extra year in college paid off — Bueckers cinched the 2025 national championship for her alma mater, UConn. Just a few weeks later, she was swept off to the WNBA draft and selected by Dallas as a guard. The price for Wings tickets havealready soaredin anticipation of Bueckers' debut. She says she's ready to meet the moment. "I want to give everything I have to the organization, to the city," Bueckers toldTime. "I know Dallas is a sports city. I'm walking in there wanting to be a great leader, a great teammate, wanting to be a winner at all levels, wearing that jersey and representing that city with pride and a passion and joy for the game of basketball. I want to give to that community. I want to be invested in it. We're all looking to do something special." Iriafen transferred from Stanford to USC to play with Juju Watkins, the Trojans' star player. Though USC didn't progress past the Elite Eight because of an injury, Iriafen's future in the WNBA looks bright. Iriafen left Stanford as the school's top scorer and broke USC's record for most points scored in a single NCAA tournament game with 36 points. Washington tore down their roster and rebuilt it with fledgling new talent. This means coaches expect Iriafen to make an impact in her rookie year, and she says she's up for the challenge. "I take that with a lot of pride … but I also understand that it's nothing that's given to me," Iriafen told theWashington Post."I have to keep working to kind of maintain that and help build a future that we're looking for." Morrow said she was "overlooked" in conversations for national titles. She was passed over for SEC Player of the Year despite winning Defensive Player of the Year. Now, Morrow is one of the most anticipated rookie players of the season. She was the No. 7 pick to the Connecticut Sun. "That kid — she just works," LSU coach Kim Mulkey told the Chicago Tribune. "She just is one you want on your team. She plays that hard in practice every day. Sometimes you put her on the side because it's like, 'Nees, this is one of those days where you can take a deep breath.'" "Every game was tight. We could see great players that evolve in this league, so of course it was like high-level teams," Malonga said. "Every minute that I spent on the court there, I know that I learned something and that I improved on my game." At just 18, Malonga was the youngest player on the French national team. Now, at 19, she's making the journey across the Atlantic to join the Seattle Storm. "I'm really, really excited to step on the court in the W and to show that European basketball is something, too, and I can come here and showcase my talent," Malonga says. 2-time Indy 500 winner Newgarden, Team Penske teammate Power penalized for illegal part modificationNew Foto - 2-time Indy 500 winner Newgarden, Team Penske teammate Power penalized for illegal part modification

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Two-time defending Indianapolis 500 winner Josef Newgarden and Team Penske teammate Will Power will have to start from the final two spots on the grid Sunday after their teams were penalized for violating the rules during qualifying weekend. IndyCar also announced Monday that the team strategists for the Nos. 2 and 12 have been suspended for the race; the cars will forfeit their qualification points and pit box selections; and each of the entries has been fined $100,000. The trouble began before the fast 12 shootout Sunday when rival team owner Chip Ganassi was among a chorus of competitors who accused Team Penske of cheating. They noticed unapproved changes had been made to the rear attenuator, a safety device designed to absorb and deduce the force of impacts, and the assumption was the modifications would have given the two Team Penske cars an aerodynamic advantage in their four-lap qualifying runs. Tim Cindric, president of Penske's IndyCar program, said Power passed inspection but officials flagged Newgarden's car. He also said the modification was not on the car of Scott McLaughlin, who had crashed in practice ahead of fast 12 qualifying. Newgarden and Power had their cars pulled from the qualifying lineup, effectively ending their chances at the pole. IndyCar president J. Douglas Boles initially said Newgarden and Power would join McLaughlin in starting on the fourth row of the race. But after the series gathered more facts overnight, Newgarden and Power were penalized to the rear of the field. McLaughlin will keep the 10th starting spot because his wrecked car was found to have used a legal attenuator. "The integrity of the Indianapolis 500 is paramount, and this violation of the IndyCar rule against modification to this part and using it 'as supplied' is clear," Boles said. "The penalty should be more than simply starting where the cars might have qualified anyway, if given the opportunity. The cars belong in the field as two of the fastest 33, however, starting on the tail of the field is the appropriate penalty in this instance." ___ AP auto racing:https://apnews.com/hub/auto-racing

Dave Portnoy slams WNBA as league investigates 'hateful comments' toward Angel ReeseNew Foto - Dave Portnoy slams WNBA as league investigates 'hateful comments' toward Angel Reese

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy pushed back on allegations that "hateful comments" were reportedly made towardAngel Reeseduring the Chicago Sky's game against the Indiana Fever. TheWnbalaunched an investigation on Sunday. The remarks were allegedly made toward the second-year Sky star during Saturday's matchup, according to The Associated Press. The league said it "strongly condemns racism, hate and discrimination in all forms." Click Here For More Sports Coverage On Foxnews.com No specifics were presented, and Portnoy cast doubt on whether the comments happened and speculated that internet trolls could have been behind it. Portnoy was at the game at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse and sat courtside in a Caitlin Clark jersey. Portnoy said in a video posted to his X account that the only "hate" he saw came from Reese against Clark after the Fever star hit Reese with a hard foul in the third quarter. Reese let Clark know emphatically that she did not like it. Clark was given a flagrant foul but said there was "no malicious intent" behind it. "Listen, I was at the game. If there was somebody being racist or saying s---, obviously boot 'em. Never let them back," Portnoy said. "I would be stunned beyond belief if that was the case. … The crowd at the Fever game? Little girls, families, ladies, nice crowd. Were we mad when Angel Reese attacked Cailtin Clark for no reason? Yeah. Did we boo her? Yeah. Is it sports? Yeah. Read On The Fox News App "For the WNBA, and now the Indiana Fever, to issue statements, 'We're investigating,' unless something so preposterous happened that nobody in the stadium saw — there's not an ounce of proof, there's not a video of it, there's not camera phone of it — unless something happened, which I know it didn't. For them to acknowledge this and, again, kind of paint Indiana Fever fans, like, by just saying 'We're investigating the hate' … even though it's 100% false, by acknowledging 'We don't condone hate,' and not seeing that this was an internet rumor founded of complete bulls---, you're lending credence to this." Angel Reese 'Hates' Caitlin Clark, Former Nfl Star Says After Tempers Flare In Wnba Matchup Portnoy added that the crowd was good and that Reese "deserved" to at least be booed but had a message for the WNBA. "Angel Reese deserved to get her a-- booed when she attacked Caitlin on a normal foul," he said. "Other than that, what are you talking about? The WNBA, talk about killing the golden goose. Like, you guys are lucky you have Caitlin Clark. You are lucky you have the Indiana Fever. It makes the league relevant. All you do is s--- on 'em. "And for the Fever, by the way, to even put out that statement, I'll eat my words if you find one iota, or if there's even one person who is doing something. Being in that crowd, seeing that crowd, being at the game, zero point zero, zero, zero, zero, zero chance there's any truth to this. And you add validity when you acknowledge the statement, 'We don't condone hate.' There was no hate. The only hate was coming from Angel Reese attacking Caitlin Clark." The Women's National Basketball Players Association (WNBPA)released a statementon the issue as well. "The WNBPA is aware of reports of hateful comments at yesterday's game in Indianapolis and supports the WNBA's current investigation into this matter. Such behavior is unacceptable in our sport," the statement said. "Under the WNBA's 'No Space for Hate' policy, we trust the league to thoroughly investigate and take swift, appropriate action to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all." The Fever acknowledged the investigation was taking place, as did the Sky. "We will do everything in our power to protect Chicago Sky players, and we encourage the league to continue taking meaningful steps to create a safe environment for all WNBA players," Sky CEO Adam Fox said. The Sky and Fever have four more matchups on the docket this season. The Associated Press contributed to this report.
